With over 25 years of marketing management experience, Kym has completed successful projects for many types of industries, including: manufacturing, property management, non-profits, legal, and medical services. She began this company as a way for many small and new businesses to better afford quality marketing services. Kym forges long term relationships with her clients as their “virtual marketing coordinator.” Kym spent eighteen years as the marketing manager for a local machine tool distributor. Her resume is impressive and duties included developing marketing plans, creating marketing collateral pieces, database management and report creation, sales administration, and also wore the hat of an IT manager. After losing her job she not only started her company (2004) but decided to go back to school and upgrade her skills. In 2008, she graduated with an associate’s degree in Web Design and completed a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Communications in 2010. She’s also working on finishing the remaining credits for her bachelor’s in Business Administration. She’s currently looking for a Master’s degree program to begin in 2011 in Internet Marketing to better assist the needs of her clients. Kym currently teaches classes through adult education programs on how to become a Virtual Assistant along with classes on Social Media to Market Your Business, How to use a Virtual Assistant for your Business, Free and Inexpensive Marketing Ideas to Grow your Business and Networking 101. Kym resides with her 3 cats (Shadow, and rescues Patches, and Pixie) and her rescue dog named Molly. When she has free time, she enjoys a variety of crafts including jewelry making. She likes to volunteer her marketing, web and graphic skills to non-profits in need (currently working with Pet Adoption Alternative of Warren where she adopted her dog from on their new website). She’s a member of ABWA (Suburban Connection Charter Chapter) where she designed an award winning newsletter for the chapter and just finished designing their first website. She’s also a member of the Macomb Chamber of Commerce volunteering on the marketing committee and as a chamber "Ambassador". Additional memberships include: InDesign User Group - Detroit, Macomb Literacy Partners, and Southeast Michigan Postal Customer Council (PCC). (586) 805-5996 |
